Rachelle Moore
Piano, Violon and Violoncelle
Teacher for over 7 years Rachelle started playing music at the age of 4. Beginning at the piano, over the years she acquired several instruments including the violin and the cello. In her youth she took part in several competitions in violin, piano and cello. She won several first prizes at the Festival Musique Jeunesse Québec.
Rachelle had the honor of being a member of the Outaouais Youth Symphony Orchestra for several years. Through her experiences, she developed a great love for music. Rachelle Moore studied cello at the Gatineau Conservatory of Music. She also graduated from the University of Ottawa with a minor in music. It was at the University that Rachelle discovered a real passion for pedagogy.
Passionate about stringed instruments, Rachelle’s goal is to be able to transmit to her students a true love for music, because music for Rachelle is not a competition, but a real passion.
