Myriam Lessard

Myriam has always loved music. She has been playing the violin since the age of 5, clarinet since the age of 10, then discovered a passion for piano at age 11 by taking lessons at the Sonart music school with M. Fabien Tousignant.

Myriam quickly progressed in piano learning. She holds a degree from the Royal Conservatory of Music at the 8th level and hopes to eventually obtain her ARCT (Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto). In addition to classical music, she plays popular and film soundtracks.

Myriam likes to perform on stage either solo or in a group. She has participated in various concerts of the Sonart School of Music, the Concert of 100 pianists, the show of the Lani Foundation in 2019, talent shows at her school and several other concerts organized by Mr. Fabien Tousignant. In addition, in 2017 she won the local secondary show finale, which allowed her to participate in the regional finals by representing Collège Saint-Alexandre. It is with enthusiasm that Myriam will share her passion for music to her students. First student then teacher, Sonart is particularly proud to count Myriam among his teachers, since Fall 2019.
