Marc-André Jobin

Originally from the Eastern Townships, Marc-André Jobin established himself in the region when he attended the University of Ottawa where he obtained a first degree in Nursing and then he continued his studies in Administration. At the end of his Bachelor of Administration, he was attracted by studies in music and therefore also completed a Bachelor of Music. Also, in parallel to music, he continues with his nursing profession with Aboriginal dispensary when substitute in the Cree of James Bay are required.

His passion for music and especially for vocal art has gradually taken an important place in his life. He has long studied singing with Madame Fernande Chiocchio.

In 1988 he was a finalist in the contest Ontario Pop. Since 1993, he is part of the chorus of Opera and participated in over 25 productions including most recently that of “Pagliacci and Cavalleria Rusticana”.

A passionate and dedicated teacher, Marc-André has been part of the Sonart family for more than 8 years.
