Piano, Choir and History of Music
Hélène Le, Québécoise of Vietnamese origin, began her piano studies at the age of 8. She was quickly accepted at the Conservatoire de musique de Gatineau where she finished her studies in 2015.
In 2019 she graduated with honours from the University of Ottawa in Psychology and Music. She then began a Master’s degree in Counselling and Spirituality (Psychotherapy) at Saint Paul University in Ottawa.
From 2013 to 2018, Hélène was the regular accompanist and substitute for the director of the choir of the St-Paul Catholic Church in Aylmer. Hélène accompanied Protestant, Anglican, Jewish, and other churches in Ottawa / Gatineau. Her musical experiences led her to teach music art workshops at the CARMEN Center and various community centers in the Ottawa / Gatineau region. She is very interested in the therapeutic relationship between music, instrument and body.
Hélène teaches piano, children’s choir and the History of Music by listening at Sonart music school in Aylmer. Hélène is a dynamic teacher who knows how to share her passion for music with methods adapted to each of her students.
