At What Age Should You Start Playing an Instrument?

The suggested age for learning a musical instrument varies depending on the instrument chosen. In addition, everyone learns at a different speed, so it is essential to take into consideration the abilities of your children. Here is an overview of the suggested age according to the instruments offered.

• Piano lessons – 5 years

• Singing lessons – 6 years

• Guitar lessons – 6 years

• Violin lessons – 5 years

• Drum lessons – 6 years

No matter the age of the student whether a child or adult, with experience or not, we adapt. There is no maximum age to start playing an instrument. Our teachers take into consideration the level and tastes of their students to give them lessons according to their needs.

For children aged 3 to 5, music imitation classes are also offered. This course is an introduction to music and allows you to learn the basics of music (for example sounds, rhythms, different musical instruments and more, all while having fun.
